my trunk space is 35 1/2 wide/36inch deep/18 inch high what box would you go with for 1-12inch alpine type r with 1400 watts rms going to it.

1400w RMS to 1 12" Type R.....hmm 1200 seems like the most I would want to put to mine.I use about 800-900w RMS per 12" Type R.

What are you after,SQ,SQL or SPL?

For SPL I'd go with like 2.5ft^3 per 12" Type R tuned high (45Hz+)

For SQL 2ft^3 to 2.5ft^3 per 12" Type R tuned to 35-38

For SQ and a lil SQL I'd do 2ft^3 per 12" Type R tuned to 32-35Hz
