i just got my subs set up in the trunk
they sound ok. They're 2 10w3s getting 250 watts each from a monoblock amp.
They are in one of those standard sealed jl prowedge boxes.
Ive heard that cutting some vents in the rear shelf will make the subs sound better/hit a little harder
in the car (ive got these in an old 90' civic 4dr)
Is this true?
Also if the subs fire towards the trunk or towards the rear seats, whats the difference?
In front ive got 2 lowend 2-way pioneer 6.5"s in the doorpanels. They just arent cutting it.
I would really like to get some good midbass drivers to "fill out" the sound from the subs and pick up the higher bass frequencies. What midbass speakers would be a good compliment?
Im looking at infinitys component speakers as a possiblity. Ive heard good things about them
but do they put out good midbass?
Any reccomendations for building a more balanced setup would be appreciated.
