It depends on what you qualify as "good enough". A solid sub in a properly built ported box (especially if you'll looking for loudness over sound quality") can get **** loud. I've got two measly 10s on 200W each and I can't hear the person next to me, even when they're yelling when it's turned up.

There's no way you can do 6000 real watts on stock electrical. You probably have a ~100A alternator. You could probably do 1.5-2K tops before the voltage drops dangerously low. You'll need the big three wiring upgrade under the hood and an extra battery wouldn't hurt. Beyond that you'll need multiple extra batteries and a high output alternator.

The box is going to be the most important part. There are a few members on here who sell designs or could ship you the whole box. I'd highly recommend them over a prefab box and I'd suggest them over the average CA installation shop. Figure out how much cubic feet you can give up, get the biggest sub you can that would work with that airspace (two smaller ones if you'd just prefer having two - some people do), and have someone make you a real box and it'll get **** loud. You'll have to deaden and brace the **** out of your car if you care about how it sounds on the outside at all because it will be heard from far away and rattle like a mofo.

Also Orion isn't quite what they used to be. I'll let other suggest alternatives for you to consider, unless you're already sold on them.

Thanks for the advice I was planning on an extra battery in the trunk and figured with the one amp since it has remote gain I wouldn't have it up all the time so was thinking the times I do have it up the extra battery would be able to make up for the lack of power from under the hood
