Need Advice On Ex GF and Co-Truck Payment Together

Well call the cops and tell them she took your truck and she has no license so the cops will hand it to you since your name is on the loan as well. But whos name is first? One of you guys has to be the co-signer.

btw more pics of ex gfs sister

Websense ftmfl. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif My advice: don't combine finances with girlfriends. Too late for this one, but remember it for the future.

yea Fo SHO!!!! dont do that again...i guess u live and learn! good thing is the loan is only a 3 year loan and its been almost 2 years so it wont b screwing me forever!

you don't know if she put insurance on it? most loan companies won't let you have a loan unless there is proof of insurance. so who has the insurance on it?

bank has the title until the loan is paid off. it does not matter who is the registered owner, it matters who has the title... so this will not help him in this case. if he is a co-signer and she is not paying, then he becomes 100% legally responsible for payment.

chalk it up to a life lesson learned. you need to seriously sit down with her and discuss this situation. if she is not paying, they will come after you. so perhaps it is in your best interest to pay the full amount of the payment each month because you obviously can't count on her. or have her relinquish the truck to you. you can possibly accomplish this in court, but let this one go and your credit is screwed.

this is the problem with cosigning on a vehicle. best thing to do in a situation like this is A) never do it at all or B) one owner only, that way neither of you has to deal with what happens when you break up. but maybe that would work, and i'm just guessing on this, because neither of you could qualify solely on your own.

She had insurrance on it when we baught it, but the last i heard, she stopped it cause she couldent pay it or something like that. and i agree bout the rest, but the last part is wrong, the only reason why we did a joint account was cause she couldent get it on her own, i could of got it on my own, but we wanted to get her credit going because she had none. thats y we did a joint.

i take it as a lesson learned and im gonna look into a lawyer and see what i can do.

be careful with the insurance. if she stopped paying, then you need to take over getting the truck insured. if your loan company finds out, sometimes they will repossess the car because you did not follow terms and have the vehicle insured. and that will only make things worse.

good luck with things. i hope you are able to get them worked out in your favor.
