Hey guys, so to make a long story short, i got a 100 doller noise ordiance fine and i dont even have subwoofers, just amped up midbass.. it was 11 aclock at night, but it was in the middle of town, aka where all the restaurants, nightclubs, etc are.. NOT a residential district.

Now heres my problem... theyre giving me seven days to pay the fine of 100 dollers... i cant... i get paid biweekly and this is my off week.. i cant come up with 100 dollers out of thin air... What can i do? Can i just skip paying the fine.. then go to the assigned court date.. which would be WHEN i have the money, and pay it then and there, and its all good and over, or is there other penaltys, regardless i cant pay it within seven days.. so im wondering if i can go to the court date instead then pay it there?

just dont pay it untill u can they cant raise the fines or take u to jail for some lil bullshit ticket like that...
actually, they can, failure to pay a fine or appear in court would be an automatic bench warrant.

my suggestion would be to go to the appointed court date and talk to the judge about it. if he's in a good mood he might reduce it or even wipe it away, my suggestion would also be to talk to the prosecuter if you have the option. sometimes they will work with you on it also. now if u go to court tho you'll probably get hit w/ a court cost fee.

they'll ask if ur guilty or not guilty. Simply say Not Guilty. If the officer DID NOT meter the sound with a metering device from 25 feet or MORE away, there's nothing he can do. (at least I used that when I got mine, LMAO).
