need a sub that performs well on lows

ok I'm going to be working with a aq3500d when they drop, but I'm not sure on tha subs I should go with I emailed aq about their hcd3 15s and they told me with a box tuned to 36hz there subs can play lows to tha mid 20s but do they pound them hard or just supply a decent response, really still learning this audio stuff, last setup was a hifonics Brutus 2600.1 on 2 cerwinvega strokes 15s ported @32hz sounded decent but I wanted something louder and could handle lows better any help not really trying to break tha bank not trying to spend more than 450 per sub, any help would be appreciated

Well since subs are made for highs, you probably aren't going to find many that play low...

Box tuning doesn't necessarily dictate how low a sub will play. Have you ever heard an AQ sub?

Mine peak 4Hz below box tuning. Last year tuned at 35Hz I did 147@31Hz, so not sure how much lower/louder you need for daily //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

I run HD's and the GF has a Q and SQ is VERY comparable. I actually think the Q is a little bloated on the bottom end compared to my set up, but I've got more EQ ability in my car, so that could be the diff.
