Im looking to get a ported sub box designed. It will be for my DB Drive PLW15D2. I have a Jeep Wrangler so my trunk is pretty small but im going to take the back seat out. With the backseat out my trunk dimensions are 24" deep, 30" wide, and 12" tall. I would like the sub to be firing up or forward. And im open to suggestions on the tuning of the box. Pm me if you can design me a box and what the price would be. Thank.s

those dimensions are to small for a 15. that would only give around 2.5 cubes... if you want loud low bass you need atleast 3.5 to 4.5 cubes... but 2.5 will probably work sealed but only gonna hit high bass notes....

It gives him about 3.9 cubes gross. Maybe a typo in calculating?

Anyhow PM'd.

H x D x W divide by 1728 minus thickness of would
I'm not trying to be rude, but you are wrong.

12" high x 30" wide x 24" deep is 6733.125 cubic inches internally. Divided by 1728 (cube) is 3.9 cubic feet.

And if 35" replaced 24" for depth you get 5.8cubic feet internally.

I am unsure of where your mistake lies, but it is there and obvious.

sorry just got out calculator. you got 5 cubes max... not counting for mdf thickness which gives you 3.8 cft...... should work well for your sub... sealed or ported... if you port it you need 3"hx10.5"wx18"d for good lows... sorry for mis information earlier
