I need a pair of 12" SQ subs recommended to me for a setup in an '02 Mustang. Ive always used ported speakers/enclosures in the past, but now Im switching to SQ. Preferably I need a pair of 12's that will be able to handle my amp: http://www.mtx.com/caraudio/products/amplifiers/thunder81001.cfm

I am running 2 Arc Audio 12d4 off of my Treo SSX1500.1 in a sealed enclosure in my 02 Roush and they sound great. They can get out the bass for sure and sound very clean.

Thats a nice install man...and it leaves plenty of room compared to ported enclosures.

i'm interested too... i have two Type R twelves in 4 cubes tuned to 35 w/ 70+ square inches of port... i need the same output more better sound quality at louder volumes

Thanks for the compliment. As for SQ these things sound great, but they get pretty boomy and I may switch down to 2 10d4 for a tighter bass. Might just be me though.

Why do you think that you have to go sealed to have SQ? You can get good SQ out of a porte enclosure
