I bought my truck (02 f250 crewcab) with JBL p650c's ran by a JBL gto75.2 giving they about 100w each side. and i must say ive been really impressed with these speakers. but now im looking to give them some more power. about 200watts each side. i want more mid bass and alittle softer tweet. and get louder. these things do get loud! after reading i want to pick from these. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

Alpine SPX-17REF

JBL C608GTI MKii

JBL P660c

Pioneer TS-C720PRS

MM6 - Polk Audio 6.5

MM6W - Polk Audio 6.5

CDT Audio HD-62

CDT Audio CL-62

Image Dynamics CTX65CS

i will be using a rockford t3002 for them the actual power output is 200 watts per channel. figure i can be conservative with the gain. think ive narrowed if down to the ID's,cdt's or pioneers.

JBL P660c gets my vote. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

how do the P660c compare to the mkii's? do you like the 660c's better?
The P660C is the new power series and it has improve SQ over the previous model and it is 2ohm so you can have more power to them. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif I have the GTi mkIIs in my other car and it is power hungry but has a very good mid bass..

I had auditioned the P660C and I was impressed with the sound quality. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

RUn active, then you will have the biggest selection of drivers you could ever imagine, also it sounds a TON better, and its not too expensive either.

what do i need to go active? 4way amp 2x mids 2x tweets? do i need an equilizer? active means you ditch the crossover box and control the xover with the amp? someone give me a basic setup. Im looking at those ID oem Mids on here for $90 from hess. and ill probably be going with 2 IDQ12v3's sealed here shortly. and i already have a jbl gto75.2 that does 90+watts to each channel.

That is the great thing about Maestro products, they are very thorough. Downside is the price tag.
