Need a new HU

It's been a while since I've invested myself in car audio. The last new HU i had was a CDA-9855, which I loved. It sounded great, and and had lots of great features, especially the 5-band parametric EQ and the 2-way active crossover.

I'd like to get a HU with similar features that costs between $200-300. I know the 880prs is good, but it's hard to get a hold of one. Ipod support and USB ports don't matter to me. Any suggestions?

After some research, I'm leaning towards the 9887. Its seems like a lateral step from the 9855. This is going to run stock speakers for now, until I get the van paid off and get a new vehicle. Then I'll pick up some comps and go active.
