need a loud daily driver setup... help me out!?

i've been running a 15in XXX in a 3 cu ft ported box tuned to 40 hz powered by a mtx 1501d and i just sold that due to not having the space for a XXX and the amp eating away at my electrical, im trying to find a sub/box combo that can get loud with around 1000 watts rms? maybe as loud as the XXX? preferably a 12in so i can give it the proper space it needs, i don't have enough room for a ported 15. i can get a 12in RL-p locally for 155.. should i jump on it? im not trying to spend more than 200 dollars but if it will meet my expectations ill consider it. what are your guy's opinions? thanks in advance

i'd also consider a dual 10in setup or triple 8in setup if i can get loud with it, btw i'd prefer not to use a woofer from the kicker line-up, i'd like a little sq

That's a heck of a deal on the 12" Rl-p as long as it's in good shape. I'd jump on that if at all possible. It won't get as loud as the XXX you had....but ported it should still have more than adequate output for you unless you are a total basshead.

Other than that, the RE SX would be a good option for ya aswell.

you guy's didn't read the whole post //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif anyways, went with the rl-p, picked it up today and bought a box mr marv made for 85 bucks as well... its 1.5 cu ft tuned to 34hz, made for the rl-p basically. now i need to find an amp that will give me the power i need @ 2ohms

I'd say go for a 12w7 since you said you were looking the w7 in your other post. The w7 is a good for daily driving since it's SQ oriented, but it can be kinda pricey =( just for the record how much did you end up selling the XXX for?
