Yeah it's hard to just read my logo, my photoshop work tends to always turn out really abstract like that, I guess it's just my style. When I design logos I try not to be generic, a lot of people just use the company name in some font with an edited picture of something that pertains to the company in the background, which I have no problem with, but there were already plenty of examples of that so it would be pointless to make another one. I decided to make an image that doesn't explicitly state the company name in it, but represents the company, looks good, and could be easily recognizable. Nike has a swoosh, you have a sub.
If you put the logo with the company name under it people will start to associate the image with the brand, and if you get really popular people won't even need to see the name under it.
Ok so to be honest I completely pulled that logo out of my ***. I started by making the big crescent moon shape that is the right side of the cone, then I made the other side in an attempt to make a funky looking H before I realized it sorta looked like a bowl. So I figure since it's a box design company, I'll just turn it into a subwoofer logo and try and incorporate it into a different design. After putting the motor on I realized that aside from looking really sweet, it could sort of resemble the name. So I dotted the I with the swoosh and made some crossed wires as an X. I was pleasantly surprised how well it turned out //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
