Hello, I have a problem which is connected with a choice of midbass speakers. Actually I can't choose between several models such as Alpine SPX-Z18T, Genesis Absolute, ScanSpeak, or maybe you will offer me some other speakers. My car always takes part in SQ competitions and rather well-known in Russia. Thank you in advance for your help.

Where are they located? What's your low-pass point?

The ones you listed are good choices, I'd also look into Hybrid Audio L8s or maybe something Audio Technology...

The Alpine F#1s are OEM'ed by Scanspeak...I've heard the stock Revs, not the Alpine-badged ones. Haven't had a chance yet to hear the Genesis ones, they're pretty rare in the States.

The 18W's are like $230 each from Madisound Speaker Components - the US distributor for ScanSpeak.

As with anything, try to listen before you buy. But I don't think they will sound a ton different as they all are basically the same speaker.
