I was looking at the pioneer 4000 the Kenwood DDX512 and the D3. I need suggestions on which one you guys think would be best. A big thing for me is the Ipod Searching controls. I hate my Alpine CDA-9884 because it takes a year to find a song.

I am looking at the Kenwood ddx-812. It is a nice HU with 5 v preouts and built in BT from Parrot. My local shop priced it at $899 but when I was walking out the door a $100 fell off the price tag....imagine that! haha

The D3 is 6.5 inches, correct? I want at least a 6.95 or 7 inch. When you compare the a 6.5 to a larger screen you can really see the difference. (IMO)

Does the D3 come with built in BT? I believe it is external.

The Kappa's have a high sensitivity rating of 93 db so the X802-5 would be fine. A good high sensitivity 8" sub in a properly sized box would fit...
