Need a good cheap 10" sub

Any recommendations? I'm trying to put a system together on a really tight budget...

I've already got a decent amp (infinity kappa 2-channel) and some decent dash and soundbar speakers. I was going to buy one of the kenwood 10" tornados off of ebay...It looks like you can get those for around $50.00 shipped. There's also old style infinity kappas, and alpine type-s and type-e's in that price range. Is it stupid to get a sub that cheap? BTW, I'm really concerned with sound quality more than loudness. The sub will go by itself in a 1 cu foot truck box, with 150 watts powering it at 4 ohms.

Thanks a lot everyone.

you should buy a nice new JL Audio 10W7. They are so reasonably priced! Just kidding. They are a rip off. Just check out Ebay and browse through there. You can get a lot of really cheap stuff. Try browsing the bogus categories where you would think you would find nothing. There is a lot of good stuff in those categories. Also if you see something that looks good check these boards and see what the audio gods have to say about them. Be patient and determined.

Very basic Audiobahn, the natural sound woofer. Many people I've seen on sounddomain.com own usually a pair of these, and get up into the 150's on the db scale.

Most of the time it's an average of like 140-145 or so.

I've never owned them, i'v had alums which I my say are very bad *** for only a **** 10".

Anyway, on ebay:

Now if that is still not enough, and you want more you can go high excursion:

But they will take more watts to push.

I would go with that natural sound. Sounds like you have just about the right box as well.

These are made for over all range of sound, if you would Like the audiobahn alums how ever are over 100.00 are the best sq they make, but I really don't think you would be disappointed with the natural sounds.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/banghead.gif.8606515f668c74f6de0281deb475b6fd.gif

With the green cone. Anyone have any experience with these?

Thanks again //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
