Need a good amp for my Alpine Type X's

I am looking to get a good setup going for my car. i already have my subs(2 alpine 12" type x's) and now i dont know which amp to get to power these. i dont want to daisy chain two amps so im only looking for a single. i have asked some people at the custom audio shop by where i live and they were telling my about the Hifonics bxi2006d( http://cgi.ebay.com/HIFONICS-BXi2006D-BRUTUS-CLASS-D-MONO-AMP-BXi-2006D-NEW_W0QQitemZ170098962680QQihZ007QQcategoryZ64570QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD1VQQ_trksidZp1638.m118.l1247QQcmdZViewItem ). just wondering if theres a different amp i could be using that would be better thats fairly close to that price range. any help is appreciated!!! Also what kind of wire should i get to hook this all up(ie 0 gauge wire)????

thats an alright amp iv read its a little over rated but still a good amp for the budget and for only having to run 2 gauge wire to the amp probly your best bet

im willing to spend up to 500$ on an amp so any other suggestions. and im going off of ebay prices bear in mind. and lemme say that u responded really quickly

run at least 1500 per amp! I had a pair only satisfied with a dd z1

I would run a AudioQue 2200 on those subs little over 1100rms per woofer will get them going good. and it 389 brand new on the audioQue site so you got leftover $$ to grab an extra battery.

i looked at that amp and it looks good and all but is it better than the hifonics one i talked about gettin on the top of the thread
