Need a good amp for two 12's.

I was wanting to know what kind of amp i need to be able to push my two audiobahn 12's....they're both 400watts rms a piece. I currently have a pioneer 760watt max amp hooked up and when turned up to certain point it will cut in and put due to overheating i guess. Just wondering if you can recommend me a good amp that can do the job. all advice and comments are appreciated.

how much do u have to spend on ur amp ? and are they 4+4 or 2+2 ?

i can up to 200.00 or so...though Id like not do. I just want an amp that can be able to push these 12's no problem and not cut out. what do you mean 4+4 or 2+2? If you mean does it have dual lugs..then yes it does

SOmeone just put a 9.1 in the classifieds for about 200. I have a couple of those and like them.

a kicker kx600.1 or zx750.1 would be a good match for those subs. regardless of wiring configuration (since they can run at 1ohm no problem)

Go with the the Ed 9.1 over SPL or Digital Audio which are inferior underratted brands. THe 9.1 is rated 1200rms and does quite a bit more on 14.4. The SPL amp is only 1200rms and that is extremely questionable at that.

Go with new MTX you can get at least a 5-700rms amp for under $200.

You can get a Candence TXA that does 1k for under 200 all day online.
