Hey guys, im looking for a good 4 channel amp to run my pioneer REV coaxials off of, basically my goal is to have something that will do 100 watts rms per channel @ 4

I was looking at the infinity reference amp that says it does 111 watts rms and was only like $250 at bestbuy, how good is this

any suggestions? im kinda price oriented

REV's don't need that much power. I'm using a Profile amp that rated at 160wpc and the gain is up 1/8" at the most.

The sound very good with this amp for budget rear fill. Get very loud also.

You can get Profile refurbs for very cheap at their website. Or millionbuy for like $85.

ummm...sorry to say but profile amps are no where near the infinity that he's looking at.

for 250 there are a lot of choices. first don't buy at best buy. they are clueless and will offer you a sony xplode telling you it's the best lol. or and audiobahn lol.

so go find a good local CARAUDIO shop. they are much more knowledgable and if something breaks, they will be able to help much more. best buy will probably just blame you.

anyways, do you care about warrenty? if not, there are many online dealers or ebay that will sell for much less.

so when you tell me what your restrictions are, i'll be happy to offer some help

I didn't say the Profile was EQUAL to the Infinity. I stated that I had one powering a pair of REV's and it sounds fine, doesn't get hot, and would fit his "price oriented" statement.

I'm also running a Helix Dark Blue 4 channel "if" you're looking to spend more it's a GREAT amp. And better than the Infinity //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Also have a Profile 4 channel in the GF's car powering 4 Polk dB650's and it sounds great, although the REV's sound MUCHO better than the Polks. Profile makes a solid budget amp. Do some research/reading on them.....
