need a good 4 ch amp for total system recomendation

Im doing a budget system for a friend... Unfortunately he already got a sony 12" sub,prolly a best buy 300w 99.00 special...I want to buy a 4 ch amp to run the sub and 2 6.5" front door speakers....

im looking at : Polk Audio PA500.4 but really wouldn't mind a suggestion
