Need a good 12" recommendation

have an amp and box already. Hoping to pick up an awesome 12" that will work well with both.

amp is:

200W x 2 chan. RMS @ 4 Ohm Stereo

300W x 2 chan. RMS @ 2 Ohm Stereo

800W x 1 chan. RMS @ 4 Ohm Mono

Box is:

14"x14"x16" O.D. .75" material = 5.7 cu ft ID? not sure I did the calculation right...

Trying to stay under $100

Here's what I've been looking at so far:

REF-TM12.4 - 12" Tidal Audio Subwoofer Dual 4 Ohm OEM by Image Dynamics

running the 1x800 @4 split

any better suggestions?

The box you have built is 1.31ft^3 before sub displacement. The Tidal sub you listed will not work well with that amp. You want something that will give you a 4ohm final load, so a SVC4ohm od DVC2ohm sub is what you're after.

The Kappa's have a high sensitivity rating of 93 db so the X802-5 would be fine. A good high sensitivity 8" sub in a properly sized box would fit...

Yup , the dsp should have input sections, it may have one for sub? Hu to dsp. Dsp to amps, amps to speakers. Probably help you to draw this all...

If you can find these in your area. Id recommend these for drop ins. They play from 40Htz on up. Sound very nice on amplified power for premium...
