A good friend of mine is lookin to build a nice lil sound system,But he wants 1 single uberwoofer,can I get a couple of recommendations on some of these "super subs" I hear about from time to time on here,Thanks for any input,recommendation or advice u can give me,also I am sure the MT will come up,what kinda power do u need for them,and what size box do they work well in?

im gonna go a different way with this. first what size sub you lookin at. the crystal cmpx2 is nice the pioneer premier tsw5000spl is nice,atomic apoc.,stroker pro,earthquake subzero,memphis m3mojo,la storm,treo ssx,soundstream xxx,xtant x2,

also for another uberwoofer try researching the powerbass pro reference sub its a nasty beast of a sub. rare to find on the internet look in the powerbass web page it should be there

He doesnt care what size it is ,he just asked me to find him a very impressive single sub setup,he is pretty much lookin for the simgle hardest hittin sub he can get(within reson of money poweretc,power andmoney pretty much will be a second to gettin a bad a$$ sub,But I mean like what is the single very hard hittin sub for 1000 or so )I think I will just end up tellin him to a 18" Solo x

18" Solo X is going to require at least 3000 watts of power, then you're talking about upgrading your electrical system and all sorts of fun stuff

If he wants to get real real loud, he's gonna need to upgrade his alternator at LEAST

Make sure he knows that

18" MT's are great subs off 2000w or so

Alright fosgate I checked out the PB references,pretty impressive lookin,but it has a Fs of 36hz how will this effect him of playin the lows? And also what about thos Tc sounds how much do they run for?

the tc sounds are custom made to your liking so there is no set price...

well its pretty much an spl woofer but i dont know about the lows ive heard one and it di all right on the lows down to about 25 hz
