I have two Diamond M6 10" subs...I am installing them in a Ford Ranger extended cab. I have heard that ported boxes don't sound good in a truck, but I'm not sure if i should build a ported box or sealed box

i could use any advice possible or maybe someones design that they used for two 10's in a ford ranger

im here....

and you are mistaken! trucks get LOUD! trust me what 10's?

the exact label on the back of the sub says "M6 10 D4", their dual 4 ohm voice coils on it

i was told that a ported box only sounds good in a car becouse its farther back from you, and it wont sound good in a truck becouse its closer to you and theres not enough air space for it. right now they are in a dual 10" sealed box, with about .75 cubic feet for each sub, and doesnt sound NEAR as loud as they did in my friends car, where they were in the trunk in a ported box
