Need a color code on a resistor soundstream reference 500

Its that resistor, i really need this so if anyone with a soundstream reference 500 this would be extremely helpful, that picture was from someone else with the same amp but the picture isnt very high resolution.

Yes that is a power resistor.

well i know from measuring it that its 3/8 inch. so wouldent that make it a half watt

yeah i have tried looking at that chart. but thats the only picture i have to go off of cause when i got the amp used the resistor was completly blown. thats a pic of the guts from another same model of the amp. but i can try and get that resistor that you said and see if it works

It's too hard to tell from that pic.

Might be a long shot, but you could try to PM the guy who posted the ampguts pic. Looks like "glassman" on sounddomain.com. Who knows, maybe he still has it..

Otherwise, you could try contacting Soundstream. That resistor should have a corresponding number on the PCB. Probably R___. The R # and the amp model, they might have an old schematic for it.

Yeah i shot them an email about it and they responded with the spec's of the resistor. That fixed one problem but i still have 1 mostly dead channel
