for 2 12" SI mags.

space requirements are 32x16x15 max to work with. SI recommends 2 cubes@32 for a single driver ported.

but i don't think i can squeeze 4 cubes without having to build in the trunk (which i want to avoid). anyone have any good plans that won't suffocate my drivers ported? if i have to i'll go sealed, but i'll be running my 20.1@.5 daily.

Your not going to get it in that space even with a single round port, because the port lenght will be to long and take up to much volume in the box.

i gave the listed max specs i can work with. and those are external

Ran it on Bassbox 6 and with those specs I get total of Internal volume of 3.455cft3. After sub displacement its 3.236cft. So a little more than 1.6cft3 each. Probably a better idea to go sealed cuse the ports gonna take up more space as well. This is with .75 MDF wood all around.

Now if u want to go with a sealed u can build a box that is 15x30x14.5 with 1.5" MDF on the front for better support, those specs gives Total volume of 2.728cft3, after displacement its 2.582cft. Thats about 1.29cft3 each, andStereo Integrity recommends about 1-1.3cft3 for each sub sealed. So that would be about perfect.

If u dont want to go with the 1.5" MDF for the front u can just make an enclosure thats 15x30x14, which comes out to 2.783cft, after displacement its 2.564cft3, so still little more than 1.2cft3 each.

Maybe someone can double check those specs for me but its what i got.

Go sealed...

With just wood, and drivers, your at ~3 cubes, no ports.

i thought i might have to go sealed. i'm sure a double baffle would be a good idea. thanks for the help guys. still planning it all out as of now and doing the build-up in a couple weeks.
