ok i am wanting to build a downfiring box for 4 incriminator audio 12's. i listen to alot of metal and rap. so i am looking for the best of both world in sound quality and hard pounding bass! they are going in the back of a 2006 silverado extended cab truck. the back seat will be removed. if anyone wants to help or is interested let me know.

Hmmm, have you considered subs facing the backs of the seats with the port to the side or facing up? Most people I've seen here on the forums that made downfiring pickup enclosures were less than impressed with the outcome.

yes i have but i travel alot for work and i always have at least one suitcase with me so i am always throwing in in and out of the back. so that is my reason for the downfiring box.

Depends, do you have any pictures of some box designs you have done or a reputation as a good box designer. And can you get me my medium between wanting good sounding rock and hard slaming bass when I listen to rap.
