Hey i just got a 2000 explorer and im looking to put a system in it. I really dont have that much to spend so im just trying to add a little something to my car. I have about $400 to spend and have an amp for my front speakers already. So i need subs (2 12's perfered buy maybe 1 10" to be stock), an amp if im going the 2 12 route, a hu and front speakers (which i believe are 6x8s) . Used is fine but they must be working obviously. Tell me what ya got.

well here is my problem. I can fit a 10" sub in the facttory location. If im going to build a box i atleast want to go with something that makes it worth taking up the space. So wither 1 10 or 2 12s or 2 good 10s

1000wrms, got some good numbers in my suv. loud and low, and sounding great.

you said $400 for amp and sub right. leaves you plenty for a solid 1000x1 @ 1 ohm.

well here is what ive decided. For now im probably going to go smaller and then once i work this summer i will upgrade. For now im going to build a single 10" sub stealthbox for the stock area. The box will be about .7-.75cu ft. looking at pms and seeing if anything will work. keep em coming

dude you can just buy my sub and build a .85 cu box, if your going .75 theres no prob with going .85 my sub would be perfect for you, and it great price
