Need a beefy 8" woofer for SPL

I was also debating this but I dont think that it will be beefy enough to take the power that I would like to throw at it.

Ill give Nick a call and see what he has to say about the Assassin 8.

One of the main reasons I would like to stay away from using the DD 1508 is because that is the prize for the loudest 8" woofer at the next local show. Team BK is giving that away as the prize so it would be cool to use something else to win that bad boy.

Take a look at an L7 8" as well.

To be honest, I wouldnt really have a use for two of them. I would just keep the one 8" driver to toy around with and sell the 1508 if I won it to fund for a set of havoc 18's
