need a 4 channel amp

well, technically, one for temporary until i can get a hold of Dave again so i can get my TS-960 replaced.

What i am looking for is a 4 channel 4 ohm 100w rms. I have been eyeing the Profile Clarius 440 or the 640 (nearing towards the 440) based on it's price and the reviews on the net.

Now I need your guys opinions on which amp i should get for an affordable price. Thanks.

a budget for someone who needs books for this semester and pays for gas for commuting to the university. Again, it's for temp. I fall asleep without any music and = a no no. Especially on the Garden State Parkway.

I doubt the profile you are looking at is putting out rated power. I have an avionixx 440.4 85 x 4 @ 4 ohms. Puts out rated power. this isn't the new line they have out, but the older ones that have alot more quality. Avionixx also makes amps for Elemental designs. I'm upgrading my system to and oldschool set up. $100 shipped. Let me know. cao.thang@gmail.com
