need a 14.4v!!

hey...i was wondering how do i get 14.4v out of my car so i can push a few extra watts out of my amp?

i usualy get 12v...what can i do?

If it's reading a constant 12 volts with the car on and no load, you have serious problems ... or the meter is wrong ...

from what I've read, you buy chargers that do 8 or 16v.

IIRC EXIDE sells one.

Seen pics of SPL vehicles loaded with 'em, so it's not THAT BAD of an idea.

keeping 16v charged for a daily system? hed have to plug it in to charge every couple hours... unless he happens to install a second 16v charging system. 16v for a daily driver really isnt worth it. Not to mention that many amps arent going to work on a 16v system without being modded.

I suggest you follow the Electrical Upgrades 101 thread posted by inhumanacura. Get a H/O alt, do the big 3 in 1/0, do a run or 2 of 1/0 wire to the back depending on what you are running and you will be good to go.
