I have a 2006 Ford F250 4 dr with Eclipse alum components in the factory 6x8 location with the alum tweeter next to it very low in the door. The tweeter fell out of the housing and pulled from the wires. I am ready for new speakers. Power from Elemtal Design 9.4 running bridged to the front with 2 x E. Designs 10 inch flat piston on Elemtal Design 9.1 .
I am looking for new 6.5/6.75 componets, 140 rms, 1 inch tweeter, that have great off axis tweeter response due to mounting locations, new in box from Egay on another online retailer, for under 130 shipped.
I plan to move to 3 x 8 inch RE in a ported box. Should I go with RE components (3/4 tweet) or E. Design comps.
