Need 425ci Buick engine

hey im in the process of getting my project together, it had a 425 buick engine in the car stock. Its a long story on what happened to the engine, but i need another 425 buick engine to go in the car now if anybody has one or know where i can get one please let me know, also ive already checked memory lane and they only had the 401 nailhead engine but they wanted a bit to much.

Also if i cant get the 425 im just going to throw this 350ci engine that i have in, in which i really i dont want to result to.

BTW i have a 1964 Buick Riviera for those interested

look on ebay.. theres got to be some on there.... go under parts cars then complete engines and look.

whats wrong with the engine... cant rebuild it? Im spendin $400 on a rebuild kit for my 390 that includes all the internal parts.

u could strip it down to the block and take it to a garage and tell them u want it checked to make sure its any good. then buy all new components from there up... but it might get expensive.. it will prolly cost about $200 or so to check the block.

yea i was going to bust it all the way down get the block boiled and cleaned up jus like u said and start a rebuild
