I'm running 2 sets of 6 1/2" Germs up front w/ 1 set of tweeters but I'm running both mids as full range. So I need a 3way crossover and this is the part I'm a little confused on. I want to run an eq for the all the speakers up front, so I'm not sure if I need multiple eq's or just 1 that'll tune it all? What, specifically, do you need? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif
Oh, now I understand... you're doing a double midbass with single tweeter per side. Going to be hard to do with a typical 3-way electronic crossover which usually provides sub low pass+midbass band pass+tweeter high pass. I have yet to see a three way that can do mid band pass+mid band pass+tweeter high pass.I'm running 2 sets of 6 1/2" Germs up front w/ 1 set of tweeters but I'm running both mids as full range. I was thinking of a getting 2 of the same crossovers and running it that way and just running the sub directly to the amp. Would that work?Oh, now I understand... you're doing a double midbass with single tweeter per side. Only thing I can think of is to wire the two mids per side in parallel and run them off the amp at 2 ohms, then you can use the band pass of a typical 3-way xo for them.
If you don't want to go that route, why not just sell both sets of Germs and go with the double midbass Germanium CS465.25 set and biamp through the passives?
