Need 10" under 5"depth sub, HELP

Hi, have a new Box for my truck.... Looking for the best 10" I could come up with

0.70 cu ft. Sealed 10" Max depth 5.20"

JL 10W1

Sundown SD3-10

Cerwin Shallow

???

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I have a small 300W at 4ohm / 500W at 2ohm Alpine sub amp

I would go with the Sundown if it fits your budget. Nothing comes close to it in terms of power handling and excursion.

Have you considered 8's? its till hard to come by good ones at that depth but more likely and 8's can sound good.

sundown e8 5.1" mounting depth

ct sounds tropo 8's 4.5" mounting depth

alpine type r 8 4.5" mounting depth

there may be more, those are off the top of the head

Ill second on this sub.I have put one in a 2006 chevy under the rear seat on an old school Autotek Mean Machine HC44 and it still sounds fantastic.Great sub for the money..Lets not forget that this sub has a 5 year defect warranty also.Dont expect super lows, but a nice punch and great sounding sub for bass fill

Prior I had MTX/Cerwin/Kicker/Pyle etc.. with all old school Class A amps ( A/D/S, Alphasonik, soundstream, Alpine )

Looking for something clean for all-type of music

Dayton - about $ 100ert

Sundown $ 150-200

JL TW3 $280-300

does this make JL the best ? or just the most expensive because of the name?

I have not heard any of these at local stores

I think one place nearby me has Hertz / Kenwood / JL

Set the class D clean and you won’t know the difference. Nobody can pick in a blind test. Sub or full range.

Thanks, I got used to the "D" alpine and am pretty impressed over the last few years

stays cool and doesn't cut out - at first I was skeptical, just need to improve from the kenwood sub( Excelon in a Kenwood 0.30cuft ) !

I just seen Stereo Integrity is coming out with a super-shallow BM MKV early 2018

I wish I would have opted for a 12" opening / didn't think 0.70Cuft. was enough space...

I will look at SKAR / JL / Sundown / Dayton, along with Dayton - looks like Cerwin and Memphis are about $100 too.

Now I have too many choices...
