need 10" sub recommendations......

Go with a 10" cerwin vega stroker im pushing 1200watts to mine and it pounds it will hold 2000rms and 4000peak

the area the sub uses inside the internal box dimensions for you here is what you would be looking at:

you have .80 the subs displacement is .12 leaving you with .68internal volume which is still fine for the ssi10, but I dont think they like that small of an enclosure, although says .6 it would like 1cube a ton better

pretty sure in a G35 he doesnt have the room to do electrical upgrades to run a TRUE 2000rms and the strokers dont seem to like SMALL sealed enclosures.

I just think with the space a pair of 8s would give you more then a single 10

it's a great SQ sub and will get suprisingly loud. yes this is for one, price is 150 shipped. i paid exactly 184 for it.

What in the world car is that small? I think your better off going with 8s, such as the DD10008s, AQ SD2-8s

The AD's are svc 4-ohm. I cant go with two 8's since my amp is 4 ohm mono. I would have to go with one. You still think one 8 is better than one 10 for my box? The website doesn't mention anything about volume size. Finally, is the surrond rubber or foam?

Btw, they are rated 300watts rms. Would my 800 watts be too much?

That amp isnt 2ohm stable? I would have to say the single 10 in the Aq SD2 or the DD 1010

If you saw what two ORION P series 10" subwoofers do to my car you wouldnt buy anything else. I will soon have a video out on the net of what they do to my vehicle //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif You could stick your face 1/2 " from my front windows and let me turn on my BASS, and my window will kiss you as it gets punched back and forth. I worry about them breaking my windows or popping out my front window sometimes ((MERCEDEZ BENZ 420 SEL windows arent cheap ! )).

THEY ARE SO LOUD , you can scream at me inside the car and I cant hear you !

GOSH you peeps got to see what these things do to my vehicle.

I almost bought a G35 coupe...the trunk scared me...lol...the single DD 1010a would work nicely in that trunk...as jman stated...I'd go ahead and get the optional carbon fiber dustcap....The 8's are super impressive...I run a single DD 1008a in my Tacoma and the low end is very nice....Experimenting this past weekend...I took a pair of DD 6.5 LT's and ran them on an Incriminator 20.1 at 2 ohm mono...as far as low end all I can say is wow...I had them in a ported box tuned at 45hz....I may go with a pair too four behind the rear seat of my Tacoma....and trust me there is far less room behind that truck seat than a G35 trunk...

What about a pair of 10" idqs or w6s those two use some very small enclosures //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif and can be wired at 4 ohm and be more than happy with those 800 watts!!!!!

I wouldnt say so, I have my cousins 15 running off 1000rms CLEAN POWER and it s doing fine.
