Rule out the JL immediately if you are looking for output. That's not what they do well at all. With that power the CVR should do well and you can get them pretty cheap. You'll want a largish ported enclosure tuned in the mid 30 hz range.

Well to go ported in that trunk with an spl sub will be tricky, almost need a high output, small box SQ oriented driver...that can also get loud...Maybe like a Dayton 12HO...?

I know an RE SE will get hellaciously loud ported with 600w....more bass than I would ever need.....

I was gonna recommend the same thing. I have 1 10" SE on about 800 watts, started with around 600, and it gets insanely loud for 1 10....i have had several people ask what i had in the trunk, most responded with 2 12's after me asking them what they thought i had. Everyone around here knows nothing about RE Audio.

could try the rsdc....they are perform well in small sealed
