Need 1-2 subs powered by a Hifonics 1200w

i heard my cousin's 2 10" alpine type s's and they're wired together (parallel?) and they sound so much louder and cleaner

what is a good SQ DVC subwoofer or two for ~$250?

These things dont really mean much. Its just what he amp can and cant run

A pair of Dayton HO's or HF's would be the pure sound quality option.

Set your gains right and my old ID12v3's would sound fantastic. If you decide to go used, hit me up. For new subs, dayton or SSA dcon. May have to be careful with the dcon on that power.

Exactly. Sound quality and SPL in the same sub.

I can't think of a pair of subs that would do both well at that price, but a single Fi Q used would be in your budget.

A buddy of mine has 2 Pioneer Champion series subs - rated @ 500w RMS/sub. I'm sure the two would get along wonderfully.

He's running his subs on a kenwood amp, sounds killer. I don't give a damn if it's a Wal-Mart brand or not.

i think the new alpine type r's are great and rated 600 rms.

i love my alpine sub and i only have one. im currently waiting for a box to be built so i can buy my 2nd one to be duel type r subs

alpine does make great products and the sub can be had for $125 from onlinecarstereo.

i have a single 15 inch d2 1500rmd tc sounds based tc9 custom sub that will sound amazing and get extremely low. I would like 250 for it shipped, its brand new never used. I have another one being built by splaudio and i decided i didnt want to go with 2 15's
