Navigator at my graduation!PIC

i know tons of ppl getting almost 100K putting up fencing..

hahahahahaha...
you'd be suprised how much semi-skilled labor makes these days... I don't know about fencing but I've heard about masonry workers making upwards of 30-40 an hour....

also when you live at home you can blow your money on shit like that...

i dunno what it is that they depend how much credit you get but i have only gotten credit cards with 1000 limits and im 25 the first credit card my freind with the denali got was $3000 and he was like 18 at the time. my brother when he was around 20 got one for best buy for 4500. i use more then he does //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

ps you guys must really be poor or haters to not belive an 18 year old can buy that he has it doesnt matter how he got it... him>haters.

we're saying he didn't buy it himself. i'd have no problems if my parents got me a navigator //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

i call BS

hell the last card i got only gave me $500, and i've been establishing credit for like a year now. never had a late payment
some people get lucky... I knew a kid whose first CC had a 5k limit... which they signed him up for when he bought his 7k car on credit...

of course he was graduating in a couple months from college and had likely had a cell phone and some other things for years....

me however had collections on file (drugs FTL) ... I have 3 cards with a total of $700 credit //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

call it what you want, i dont have to convince you of anything.
i didnt get my first credit card until a few months ago, im 22 now. i was initially rejected for several cards because of a lack of credit. then within one month i had literally $17k in credit, on several cards. i turned most of them off, kept three to use, and tore the rest up.

the other two high cap cards were a honda card and a suzuki card, each with $12k limits. i pay off my total amount each month, carry god credit. just because you cant get good credit doesent mean that other people cant //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

i dont know how taht cant be possible. a freind of mine got one for 15k to when he was like 23. i myself am glad i havent got a big credit card cause honestly i would be in debt. i love to spend money. thus the reason ive spen g if you pay off in a certain time period its no intrest //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif wich ive been doing. right now i have to pay him 260 a month for one more month and then it goes down to 230 and then like 150 then like 70 but im wanting an hdtv so you know ill be using it up again //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

truck drivers like my freind about 1800 a week sometimes more sometimes less just depends how many trips he takes... and he didnt even graduate high school.

i have decent credit, had 3 car loans ( 3 separate CRX's ) each on a 12 month loan payed of within 4-6 months so thats alright ( 2500 dollar loans each )

and i do pay off my credit cards each month, but i didnt know that helped in building credit... i appreciate you teaching me something +1 for the boards and actually teaching something

only bad thing about truck driving like my freind is his gone from monday to saturday morning. so his never really home and its like working 24 hours a day except when he sleeps.

and yes out here in cali you can be a truck driver at 18...

http://www.calmis.cahwnet.gov/file/occguide/TRUCKDVR.HTM

In California, Truck Drivers must have a Class A drivers license to drive

heavy trucks. All applicants for a Class A license or for those that are

renewing their license, must meet the following minimum requirements: have a

good driving record; be at least 18 years old for driving within the state,

or 21 years old to transport out of state cargo; pass a medical examination

that requires good hearing, 20/40 vision, with or without glasses, normal

use of arms and legs (unless one gets a waiver) and normal blood pressure.

All drivers must pass written exams and road driving tests, and meet the

State licensing and driving requirements for the truck being driven.

i help where i can lol. this type of crap has been burned into my head since i was like 12. i found out today though my rents might be moving to D.C. for my dad to take some political position on financial aid, sorta hope he doesn't take it so i can still play golf and shit lol.

yeah it's a common thought that paying the min. balance is what you should do but it really doesn't help build credit as much as paying the full monthly balance does. hell if you have like 3 cards right now, cut 1 up use 1 and just keep the other open for like 12-18 months without charging on it. in 18 months cancel the other card you've been using, call up the other card company and be like "i want a low interest rate". my friend did that and had like 4.9% interest at 21 lol.

work for pg&e the gas and electrical company out here. My brother in law makes 30/h and he started like 2 years ago or less. Gets overtime almost everyday and makes either 45 or 60 an hour. His foreman makes like 75 or something rediculous. This kinda pay is possible to someone that young, you just have to look for the right job.

My personal opinion is that entire setup looks ****

a foreman at a gas company makes 144k a year? I HIGHLY doubt that. I don't know how relevant this is but an Electric Plant operator only average's 31.40 an hour and that's after 10 years of service with a degree from a top 5 electrical engineering school, i.e. UT Austin.

On the topic of $ per year, and credit. I'm 19, and make 21,000/yr, and me and my fiance (who is 21) were approved for a $165,000 house loan, but decided not to. Now we decided upon a brand new mobile home to put on the property we currently are buying. Aproved for $34,000 for 15yrs.

To put that in perspective. My credit is paying on a 24month loan for 12 months no late payments, and her paying off a car, and paying on this property for 2yrs.
