narrowing it down your thoughts?

im narrowing down my options so here is what i have in mind for a new sub amp. New to the list is digital design m1c, jl 1000v2, sundown saz 1500d, rockford t1000, and alpine pdx1000. im looking for a clean and powerful. my subs are (2)10w7's they will be sealed. I need at least a 1000 watts. suggestions?

All good choices. Alpine and JL will likely give you the least power out of the lot.

thats ok just as long as its clean,doesnt have to be the strongest amp but must be at the very least 1000 watts.

No you don't. A 500/1 will beat those up quite nicely. Upgrading to its big brother, the 1000/1, will have little perceivable difference. JL changed their power rating recently and I think they did the same with the box requirements. A slightly larger sealed box usually sounds better on JL woofers regardless of the model. Just take it easy with the power; these subs don't need a lot to get moving.

I think the sundown and DD might be too much for the subs. JL doesn't really under-rate their stuff. RF is typically pretty clean. And BnG makes a good point up there, you really wouldn't notice much of a difference. I'd take the cheapest of the JL, Alpine, or RF.

I just don't want to not hav enough juice. I didn't think 250 per sub would be enough that's why I said at least 1000. Once I buy that's it I'm not gonna be able to upgrade without losing the money I put out.

the dd is your best bet. your running at 1.5ohms and it's rated at 1200 at 1ohm so 800-900 give or take.

it's also smaller and much more resilient to voltage drop then the sundown is
