Narrowed it down...help me out

Hey guys.....buying a new 12 coming up here shortly and just wanted to get some opinions. First I am going to be running 1 -12in sub in a sealed box. I have a spare amp laying around that is the MTX Thunder 1501d., so power is not a problem here. Pretty much just wanted to stick with a sub that was right around 140-200 bucks. I listen to mostly rock music. I have a nice set up comps up front already, just want to get a new 12" sub. Here are the subs I norrowed it down to,........

Diamond Audio D6 12

Image Dynamics IDQ 12

Elemental Design eD 11Ov.2 or the 13v.2

Soundsplinter rp-1

Most people familiar with the Type R will say that it really doesn't much care for a sealed enclosure.

So, going by that theory the Alpine is pretty much eliminated from consideration, I would say.

I do not know how well the Solobaric L7 performs sealed so I cannot really comment on that.

The Diamond D6, of which I am a definite fan as I run the older version of that driver myself (the M6mkII12) is certainly a solid choice. If you go that route get the DVC 2 Ohm version and run the coils in series to make a 4 Ohm load. It won't need the full 1500 watts your amp will make @ 2 Ohms.

I've never heard the ID or eD drivers you've listed so I cannot directly comment on that one either.

appreciate the help man....i kinda thought the kicker and the alpines where going to be out because of my going with a seal enclosure. I have hear the D6 and really like the speaker. The only ones out of the bunch i have not heard would be the IDQ's. I have read all good stuff about all of the subs and I am sure I will be happy with any of them.....(but probably not going to get the kicker or alpine due to the sealed).......

its going to be in a 98 chevy truck under the rear seat....and from what it looks like the best will be downfiring right?????

Also, if i do make a sealed box to downfire, will a 12 fit under there?? and how will it sound???

yall just let me know what ya think would be the best.....budget is around 150--200.... I can go with one nice 12 or 2 cheaper 10s.....let me know what yall think
