Narrowed down to a couple table saws

they do make cast iron also
Yes, you're right. Now that I think of it I saw a solid Delta saw with one of those extended fence tables at Rona for $799. Now THAT was a nice saw. Asked the wife if I could get it and you know what the answer was of course:rolleyes:

I dunnow if u need those for a special reason but I have the Craftsman Professinal series with the wheels and miter table... I think its like $450 and its red in color... It also folds up../// Its a great saw,,, I have used Delta and Dewalt saws and I like the craftsman better... Maybe you should look into it...

I have an old school Craftsman belt-driven saw with a cast iron top. I need to re-do the fence. It works, and works well... but it's too flimsy for my take. I'm gunna make a custom one, rather than buying a $300 dollar one that's the same ish. You should look into doing that.

Look at this link for a reference:

i'd just rather buy it as a whole unit....plug-n-play rules.

thats hot.....i love the cabinet style
Yeah, its beautiful. I believe you can remount the fence to extend it towards the right side so you can get wider cuts too.

I say scope it out - I'm sure its cheaper in store vs. online...

That's too bad. Perhaps take that model number and ask locally to see what kind of deal they could swing you by special ordering it in. I swear, you get that one and you won't look at anything else...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif
