dvd ripping?

I have a couple of DVD's sitting around the house that I would like to have on my computer so that they can be watched without the DVD and so I can put them on my IPOD.

How would I go about doing this in a way that I can keep decent quality?

Yeah I'd like it to be free. I've tried two free ones out that i found with a GOOGLE search but they didn't work...

just go to officedepot and buy it.. it works and you won't get spyware/viruses/spam etc etc.. you can check limewire and see if its one there for illegal download of it..

I actually found something quite awesome with a few different searches. Its called the "Red Kawa" package. Comes with the Videora Ipod converter, a Youtube downloader, and has links to other downloads for other various things like dvd ripping.

its got everything you could possibly want for conversions

if you own a mac, then just download "handbrake"

it is free and allows you choose from few formats to convert the movie into..

handbrake ftw
