What this amplifier has that few do is continuous phase control, which is totally awesome!

I just picked up a set of these to run some components.
Unlike most mono blocks these are full range amplifiers (most class D mono's are only good for amping up to 250htz). Hence you can run what ever you want from it, subs, components, etc.
160 watts RMS at 4 ohm
240 watts RMS at 2 ohm
THD: 0.005% at rated power
Frequencey response 10-50,000htz
Signal to noise ratio: better than 100dB (IHF A-WTD at rated power)
Damping factor: greater than 1,000
Channel separation: better than 80dB
Power source: 10.8 - 15.6 volts

But I'll make what i can to make him buy new drivers this summer and i'll be back on this latter on.
The amp is pretty neat, look classy and it is heavy. Great quality for sure. 50x2 amp fuse and underated at 12v if i remember. It is pretty big too for an a/b amp + lot of control.
He was using his two back channel to power a polk sub about an year ago and the output was **** impressive... being a trunk car

I am new here...but by no means new to car audio.
I ran across this thread searching for info/experiences on this amp. Im pretty skeptical about it, I have a good bit of experience with the pre-2002 equipment....Im not so sure about the new equipment they are releasing as the "chinese" Nakamichi as opposed to the original Japanese company, but, I have taken the plunge and ordered this amp. Im hoping for the best, but expecting the worst!!!
It will be powering a set of Focal Utopia 6.5 components for front stage, Focal 6.5 mid in rear doors for rear fill and a single 10" Cerwin Vega V-Max.
The amp should be in Tues, and will be installed the following week. Once everything is set up, I can report back a little info, as I know alot of you guys are interested, and there's not a whole lot of info on these amps.

) to buying this Nak though.Funny....that's the two exact amplifiers I was torn between. Im hoping I didn't make a mistake by choosing this one. I would have loved to get my hands on the older PA-1004 or even a PA-2004. I really wasn't looking for alot of power, this truck i really wasnt looking for loud, more just for a good clean sound, the factory volume was plenty, but of course too trashy sounding for me, especially considering my other truck has all Zapco Processing and amplification ran via Symbalink, older MB Quart Q-series, and Vega subs....Im a little spoiled to good sounding music!!!
