Nakamichi CD-300 Question

I want to get one of these, they have them at onlinecarstereo.com for $155

anyways. i noticed it only has one set of RCAs. This poses a problem, because I will be running 2 amplifiers.

how can i get 2 sets of rcas from this one pair? would it be acceptable to just use a pair of y-splitters? or would that affect the signal too much? im asking because i dont know

Y splitters should work. although i have not heard much about that head unit if anything i would go with a good alpine , pioneer etc....

You really need an outboard crossover or EQ that would not only allow a 1 in 2 out setup, but that would boost the output up to at least 5v.

Running splitters also reduces the output both amps will see.

yeah i just got a clarion eqs744 that has a seperate sub out and front output. 7 band eq with up to 7vrms, has 1 in and 2 out.

It looks like it has a front out, rear out, and sub out....

If so, you picked up a really nice entry SQ control system on the cheap (probably around $200)
