Nail gun in palce of screws?

i would not do that. the nails are really thin, and also have no threading to keep the box together. i would bet that a strong enough sub would rip a box apart that was put together by a nail gun.

why dont you just use screws? I think screws would hold better, i screw my boxes and glue them, but if nails gets you off... what ever floats ya boat

I never use screws or nails, makes my box's turn out perfect and everybody wants me to build them box's. And yes, Glue is the strongest and what holds the box together, not screws or nails. Infact if you use anything you are damaging the wood and not going to make a good bond as you would if you did not use screws or nails.

Not true at all, liquid nails makes a surface bond, not a cemical bond like wood glue does....
