looking for some help. the past couple weeks been messing around with the stereo set up in my z. playing back and forth using friends subs and amps to see what direction want to go. right now im running a 250/1 jl to a 10w3v2-d4 and im pretty happy with the bass, but looking into adding a second or even switching to two of skar audio's 10's. but my main problem now is mids and highs. I want to add some quality sound to go with the bump. i dont want to go top of line but at the same time hate half assing and coming back to do it all over again. looking for something that is reliable yet fairly loud. im searching the market in the $200-500 price range.

anyone have some suggestions?

appreciate the quick response. is he running them amped or off the h/u? was told to go the amped route but again not a pro at this game yet.

appreciate all the help so far.

2 way vs 3 way vs 4 way? need some more why info as well. why one brand over another? etc... new to this. dont want to jump into something without understanding as well or would have just taken it to the local audio shop and paid out the *** for a set up.

thanks again all
