Well.. I'm getting a new car that I can finally put my system in, in about 2-3 weeks so I want to get everything ordered before then to have it installed when I get it.

Don't know much about car audio, don't really have the time to learn in such short time.

right now, I have a Zapco C2K9.0Xd, 2 channel amp , 4ohm.

I would like to run (2) IDmax 10'' subs , so my question now is, do I buy the ones with dual 2 ohm vc or dual 4ohm vc?

Is your amplifier stable down to two ohms stereo? It should say in your owners manual.

yes i do believe it is, could not find in the owners manual though.

I would assume the amp is 1 ohm stable, im checking for ya now tho

I just checked and according to a few posts on other forums it is 2 ohm mono stable

that being said you should get 2 dual 2 ohm subs to connect to your amp bridged at a 2 ohm load

alright sweet, thanks alot.

and i see that recommened power for these subs is at 1000 watts each.

if i had two of these hooked to a 9.0x, wouldnt be too much to handle for the sub right?

i see alot of videos on youtube of people bottoming out their idmax, i don't want any stupid setup where anything like that is going to happen.
