Mystery Machine mentioned in CAR AUDIO

Hey, I was wondering if anyone remembers a few years ago when there was a feature in CAR AUDIO about the Mystery Machine in South Dakota. Chad, who 'created' the Machine was killed in a car accident a months before the feature was done. I am a HUGE fan of Scooby Doo and of car systems. His Machine was great, just an all around awesome system. I lost my copy when I was moving from home to college and back home again. I live in Mitchell, SD, where Chad lived, in fact I knew him. I have searched this town high and low for a copy of that issue. I dont remember what month it was exactly and most people dont keep years old magazines. Im fairly sure it was featured somewhere between Nov 1997 to Nov 1998, but it could possibly be 1999. Im sure if you remember the Machine and the issue you'll remember what year it was featured. I would appreciate any information anyone may have on the Machine. Thanks a bunch to all.

it's exactly the same as from the cartoon, and on the back it says

SCOOBY DOOBY DOO !!!!!!

This guy in my town owns a Herbie the Love Bug, with the number 53 and pinstripes and everything
