I also don't know how their going to pull off giving her secret security clearance to go either, it takes a while to get that approved. Unless they interm secret her, that MIGHT work. Also gotta get all the shots (9 of them) which means she gets a free flight to Tampa at McDill AFB to MEDCOM HQ. Hope she's not too squimish either, she's gonna see alot of meat on FOB's.

Has she looked at other countries over there? There are some nice middle east places to get gigs there like UAE, Oman (my favorite), Kuwait, Qatar....we have a shit ton of bases over there that need people.

She has been hunting for a new job for 6 months, she's afriad that her current employer is going to get rid of her. She refused to lie for people so that they could get free rides to the hospital when they were fully able to take a car, bus, or even walk there. That costs the local govenment money and they would much rather fudge the paperwork and get paid.

The people call ambulances looking to go to the front of the line at the ER for complete BS reasons, Medicare won't cover an ambulance ride if they are able to walk.

Depends on the job shes doing and the FOB. In Iraq we had 2 to a split trailer with bathroom in the middle, thou that was our unit. Most were in trailers that were 3-5/trailer and no bathroom. In Afgan it was dorm style with 2/room with no bathrooms in the building.

Well remember she's a contractor so you never know what you end up with. Like when I was in Qatar I had it waaaay better than the Air Force folks. They had small trailers out in the fucking desert while I could leave base and drive to my condo on the beach after work.

It was, only reason I left was because they were making us drive cars without licenses....you get pulled over and your ass is in Arab prison....yeah, no thanks.

Secret clearance is the hard part. Some companies are lazy and wont get you processed for it, they just want people whom already have one.
