I have 2 MMats Juggarnaut 15's in my 1971 Impala with all 1/0 wiring, a streetwires 250 amp alternator, an extra battery, and a MMats 3000.05 amp. The box is built to factory spec's. I am consideriring going with 4 12" Cerwin Vega Stroker Pros and adding another 3000.05 amp and another battery in a sealed box. Will the new setup be as loud or louder? Any body have any experience with the Stroker Pros? How would they sound if ported, as loud or louder?

And that amp puts out 3k watts? Ported they'd be louder in the 30-40 hz range, depends what you tune it too, my guess is 32-35 hz is your range.

(Amps) No they dont... They only put out 2500watts @ 1/2 ohm... Me personally would stick with the Juggs an get a box designed by Pete for them @ Hexibase.com... That's a ridiculous amount of cone area for a trunk, imo. However, it wouldn't be bad if the subs were firing into the cabin of the car.

Four 12's sealed, for SPL, in a trunk, is... not the best idea. Go with a single 15 or 18 ported, as space permits.

Not really looking for spl, just loud and something that will hit all the notes and hit them hard.

Wouldn't that be a little overkill for those subs? I know they handle a lot, but that much is nutz!
