My Truck : Almost Done

Well, Im almost done with the outside, and its almost time to start on redoing the stereo. It has 2 10"Kicker Comps sealed behind the seat on a RF 3002. I replaced the HU with my Alpine 9855. Im thinking about some BMs when they come out, or I might do some mods to the seat and fit deeper subs back there. I haven't decided yet since I don't have the cash to spend.

2001 F250 4x4

6.5" Lift

37x13.50x17

Intake, Exhaust, Turbo, "some work"

All I have left on the outside is an 08 Tailgate and probably 6" Stacks. Ill get some more angles and pictures if I remember tomorrow, but heres a preview.

Tough lookin truck man. My dad has a 2005 6.0 that he's done alot of work to but its unreliable as hell. 01 had the 7.3 or whatever didn't it? If so supposedly thats alot more reliable motor.

Yea, it has a 7.3. They don't have near the stock hp as 6.0s, but they have a lot less problems. On the 6.0, if you delete the EGR and put in new head studs, they are a lot better though.

Nice man. You're going to ruin the look if you put stacks on. I hate stacks. A nice 5" straight pipe would be boss on that thing. I have a 4" stragiht on my dodge and it sounds mean.

What kinda rims are you running?

Gotta agree, not a fan of the look of stacks...its not a semi. Also you can't roll peoples cars full of diesel smoke if you don't run exhaust out the side //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

nice looking truck ya got there. BM's sure would be nice behind the seat, and if ya need any room you can always just flip the seat brackets around, gives en extra inch or 2 behind the seat I think. I got an 05 F350 with the 6leaker, so far its been good to me though. If your not already a member head on over to http://www.powerstrokenation.com I'm over there under the same user name.

Your other toy sure looks like it gets used an //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif Looks like a good pair of fun rides. What else do you have done to the truck audio wise? Front stage speakers? or components?

Well, it already has a 4" strait pipe, and I like it but I really want some 6" Aussies.

Audiowise, it has some Lightning Audio 5x7s in the rear and 6.5" Polks in the front. All of the door speakers are running off of the HU, since I dont really feel like running wires for another amp yet. When I go home this weekend, Ill see about flipping the brackets for more room and seeing what else I can fit back there.

The atv is getting the 6" lift put back on and maybe a set of 31" Outlaws, but at least 29.5s again.

This is the lift:

This is before I cleaned it a little...

Stacks I want:

yea the 6" aussies seem to be the next best thing nowadays. I like em but its tough for me to think of giving up my bed space. That ATV is MASSIVE with that lift on it, absolutely insane. I would say go for the stacks, maybe even teflon or powder coated black would look pretty sweet with your truck.

I'm definitely thinking some kind of black coating on the stacks, but I haven't gotten that far yet. Stacks definitely aren't cheap. And I'm on PSN.com, same name as here. As far as bed space, I think I'm going to get an in-bed toolbox, and cut a channel in the back so it will sit over the T-pipe. Sure I'll lose some bed space, but I think the ATV will still fit, if not its not a big deal since I usually trailer it with some friends. Other than that, I don't really use the bed a lot.
